At the IFA fair in September, he is showcasing Deco BE25, with wi-fi 7 and a list price of 4,000 kronor.
- More and more people need faster and more stable wifi, especially in new buildings, so the entire industry has an opportunity here, says Tom Tran, when we meet him in Berlin in September.
With mesh, or mesh networks, you can use multiple devices that communicate to get a better and more stable wireless network.

- We are the first with wi-fi 7, both in mesh networks and regular routers. The technology is future-oriented and is supported by more and more devices in mobile phones, televisions, and game consoles, says sales manager Tom Tran.

He admits that the price of wi-fi 7 has so far been a bit above wi-fi 6.
- Prices are starting to level out, and this will probably lead to a solid sales increase, says Tran.

- We are the global market leader in wifi products and have a share of 60-65 percent in the Nordics, says Tran, who is one of about 40 employees in the Nordics.
- How good are the stores at selling routers and mesh systems to customers who buy other products that need a good wifi connection?

- There could probably be an improvement here. We are constantly working on training the salespeople, most recently about the advantages of Wi-Fi 7, so we hope they use this towards their customers again, says Tran.
In the Nordics, the company also has the Mercusys brand.
- This is a subsidiary, focusing on even cheaper products - with the same good quality and a slightly different design, says Tran.

Deco and Tapo
Under the brands Deco and Tapo, they are used respectively on the mesh systems and security cameras.
- Here at IFA, we are showing, among other things, a smart baby camera that uses artificial intelligence and, for example, can warn if the baby gets the blanket over its face. On the outdoor side, we are showing cameras with a solar panel and Dual Lens, which both have a good wide angle and zoom, both with high quality, says Tran.
TP-Link is also showing robot vacuum cleaners, door locks, and doorbells in Berlin.
- The robot vacuum cleaner RV70 has a base station that extracts moisture from the air and converts it into water, so you don't have to fill the water tank manually, says Tran.
- Why is TP-Link introducing small electronic products?
- We see this as part of the smart home, and believe that we can offer relevant products that stand out a bit, both in price and innovation, says Tran.
