Our main task is to assist our members and to promote the industry towards authorities and the public.
See who is on the board and the employees in the administration.
We work closely with Norwegian and European authorities and organisations in a number of areas that are important for the industry, such as environmental issues and economic framework conditions.
The Elektronikkbransjen Foundation also has extensive statistics with monthly reports from its members.
Read more about this under “Member Benefits”.
If your company is not already part of the industry community, joining is very simple with an email to the undersigned. The membership fee for retailers and workshops in 2025 is NOK 4,751 per shop/workshop, with a chain discount of 25 percent (for more than 10 branches). Suppliers, distributors, chains and online players are asked to get in touch, and we will quickly calculate the annual fee.
To ensure that the interests of the various parts of the industry are best safeguarded, and that membership is tailored to your business, we have several subgroups:
- Photo and imaging industry (Fotorådet)
- White goods suppliers (Applia Norge, formerly NEL, Norske Elektroleverandørers Landsforening)
- Audio and video suppliers (LF, Leverandørforbundet LYD & BILDE)
- Retail and workshop (EF, ElektronikkForbundet)
- Mobile phone suppliers (LMT, Leverandørforbundet for Mobil- og Telekommunikasjon)
- Norwegian Music Industry Council (Musikkbransjerådet, music industry and professional audio/lighting)
Our history goes back to 1924, when Norske Radiohandleres Landsforbund (Norwegian Radio Dealers’ National Association) was founded. Since then, suppliers and retailers have joined forces, and all parts of the industry have gradually come under the same umbrella.
Today, almost all players, at all stages of the value chain, participate in the industry community, and we continue to receive new memberships.
