– Video cameras for monitoring driveways and courtyards are becoming increasingly relevant, also in Norway, says Gustaf Granqvist at Reolink.

Modified

– Norway has strict privacy rules, but the desire to monitor one's own property is increasing, and this is significant outside Norway, says Granqvist when the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen meets him at the IFA fair in Berlin in September.

The product Reolink is launching at IFA is Trackflex Floodlight.

– It is equipped with two cameras, one that zooms in on the target while the other covers the surroundings. The camera has two powerful floodlights that turn on with movement, with a brightness of 3,000 lumens, almost like daylight, says Granqvist.

Three sensors ensure that the camera follows the movement. It is wireless, only requires wifi and power, and stores recordings on a memory card or in the cloud.

You can talk to intruders or scare them with a siren

– Cloud storage ensures recordings even if the camera is removed, says Granqvist.

The camera has a built-in speaker and siren, and records sound.

– You can talk to intruders or scare them with the siren, says Granqvist.

The retail price is around 3,000 kroner.
