The model weighs 1.46 kilograms and can carry equipment up to 3 kilograms. The new RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module makes it possible to track people and objects directly from the touchscreen, with tracking of people up to ten metres away. The system finds its way back to the subject if it briefly disappears from the frame. The gimbal supports both horizontal and vertical filming and has improved stabilisation for capturing in motion. The Electronic Briefcase Handle allows for filming at low and high angles. The battery provides up to 14 hours of operation and can be fully charged in one hour, while the BG70 accessory can extend usage time. The RS 5 supports wireless control via Bluetooth for several camera brands and can be integrated with DJI accessories such as Focus Pro Motors and DJI SDR Transmission.
