Audio is transmitted digitally via the Multi Interface Shoe to compatible cameras and recorded together with video in a single file with 32-bit float recording at 48 kHz. The microphones support high-resolution audio recording at 96 kHz. A 3.5 mm microphone input supports lavalier microphones and external microphones. Each transmitter has up to 64 GB of built-in storage for recording backups. This provides storage capacity for up to 90 hours of audio at 32-bit float/48 kHz or up to 60 hours at 24-bit/96 kHz. The system supports up to four audio channels in-camera, wireless monitoring via compatible Sony headphones, timecode functionality and connection to smartphones and PCs via USB-C.
