The Dreame X60 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner has an ultra-low profile, AI-controlled navigation, and advanced cleaning features for homes with many obstacles.

The flagship model Dreame X60 Ultra was showcased at the CES fair in January and presented to the Nordic press during an event in Stockholm on 26 March.

– X60 Ultra delivers intelligent cleaning at a new level by combining low-profile design with AI object recognition and adaptive lighting, according to a press release from Dreame.

It is noted that the new robot vacuum cleaner has a number of technological innovations, and the ultra-low profile of 7.95 centimetres is highlighted as an important improvement, as this allows the robot to more easily access under low furniture.

A retractable sensor system is raised for mapping in open spaces and automatically lowered to fit in tight areas.

– The ultra-low profile allows the robot to reach areas that other models cannot, the press release states.

The combination of mechanical and optical sensors ensures that the robot maintains full navigation capability, even where there is little light or large height differences.

Washes with hot water

AI-based cameras with a 120-degree field of view and projection technology enable the robot to detect a wide range of obstacles. The system is designed to identify more than 280 object types, including items down to 10 millimetres. This allows for precise and smooth navigation around cables, toys, and small household items.

– The obstacle avoidance system responds with minimal delay, according to the press release.

The robot's suction power is stated to be up to 35,000 Pa. This is combined with the CarpetForce system, which is designed to optimise carpet cleaning.

As for floor washing, a new mopping system is said to make it thorough using hot water, high pressure, and rotating motion.

– Two flexible arms allow the robot to reach right into corners and along edges, reports Dreame.

The base takes care of everything

An analysis of data from the cameras is said to ensure that the robot adapts the cleaning by detecting difficult stains and dirt.

X60 Ultra should be able to overcome double steps up to 8.8 centimetres and single steps of 4.5 centimetres, making the machine more versatile in homes with level differences.

– The combination of robot legs and swing arm motor provides reliable performance over time, according to the press release.

The base station automatically handles dust emptying for up to 100 days, hot water washing of mops, drying with hot air, automatic refilling of water, and dosing of detergent.

– The integrated AceClean DryBoard scrubs itself with water at 100 degrees, according to the press release.

According to Dreame, the base station ensures minimal manual effort, where the need for regular maintenance is reduced.
