From the stage, Huawei emphasises the cycling features in the GT 7 series, which include displaying gradient, estimated time for each stage and warnings before sharp bends. As for the new skiing features, the watches come with maps of more than 3,000 ski resorts around the world, as well as a mode for indoor ski centres.
– Two years ago, we launched golf features that allow you to download golf courses and receive assistance along the way. We are now launching a similar feature for skiing, allowing you to download an entire ski resort and receive guidance on lifts, slopes and trails. You can also keep track of your friends in the lift system, so that you do not lose each other, Björnerfors tells the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Daily readiness on your wrist
She says the watches provide a daily readiness analysis every morning, based on parameters such as sleep, stress and training.
– The watch gives you a score from 0 to 100, allowing you to assess how hard you should train, or whether it should be a rest day, says Björnerfors.

She highlights the 21-day battery life as an important selling point.
– There is no getting away from the fact that long battery life has many benefits. We talk a lot about measuring your health around the clock, and then it is important that you actually have the watch on your wrist without constantly having to take it off to charge it, she says.
Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro costs NOK 5,000, while Huawei Watch GT 7 will cost NOK 3,500. At launch, an NOK 800 discount is offered on the Pro model and an NOK 500 discount on Huawei Watch GT 7 until 18 October.

Blood pressure on the watch
Huawei Watch D3 is the company's new blood pressure watch. It has European medical CE certification.
– Blood pressure measurement is performed by inflating a cushion in the watch strap. This provides highly realistic and accurate measurements, says Björnerfors.

The new model supports blood pressure measurements both before and after exercise, and Huawei says the watch also supports ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
– An exaggerated response to exercise may indicate a risk factor for hypertension in the future, says product manager Andreas Zimmer from the stage.
Watch D3 costs NOK 6,000 and will go on sale in the Nordic countries on 12 October.

– We are broadening the portfolio with FreeBuds Neo, which sits in the mid-range segment. Here, you get very good value for money, says Björnerfors.
The earbuds feature a new compact design, adaptive noise cancellation and a frequency range from 10 Hz to 48 kHz. Huawei has analysed more than 10,000 ear datasets from 150 representative ear profiles to develop an ergonomic fit that relieves pressure in the ear.
Huawei FreeBuds Neo will be available from 12 October and will cost NOK 1,700.
New flagship on the way
The flagship Huawei Watch 6 series is also being presented. It will go on sale in the Nordic countries, but the company is revealing neither the price nor the launch date. The standard models have a lightweight design intended to provide all-day comfort, and come in 46 mm and 41 mm sizes. The Pro models are offered in 46 mm and 43 mm, with what Huawei calls premium materials and an exclusive finish. In addition to a new, smart design and advanced training modes, the watches support standalone calls, navigation and payments, Huawei says.
