Beurer expands its range with electric toothbrushes. – We have a concept we believe will appeal to most target groups, says Niklas Andersson.

When we meet him and colleague Kristian Stark from Beurer Scandinavia at the IFA fair in Berlin in September, he highlights the colour palette of the electric toothbrushes.

– Moreover, we offer product specifications that are usually found at slightly higher price points. Our toothbrushes will cost around 500 and 700 kroner in stores, and the brush heads are also compatible with other Sonicare toothbrushes. This makes it easy to purchase new ones, says Andersson.

The toothbrushes are made from 100 percent recycled material.

– This applies to both the toothbrush itself and the brush heads. When you buy these, you can be assured that what you put in your mouth is actually made from environmentally friendly materials, says Andersson.

Sonicare brushes

– That the brush heads and toothbrushes can be used interchangeably with other Sonicare toothbrushes, does this mean that Beurer has put its logo on toothbrushes from another manufacturer?

– No, the products are entirely developed by us, and we are responsible for the production.

He also shows the new hairdryer HC 150.

– This is a product in the upper range, with many features you usually only find at hairdressers, including an extra-long cord. It has heat and cold air settings and can be folded, making it easy to take on trips, says Andersson.

Rechargeable heating pad

Kristian Stark has previously shown Beurer's massage pillows to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen. In Berlin, he focuses on the new heating pad HK 77 Heathy, priced at 1,100 kroner.

– This is a completely new and rechargeable pad. Thus, you avoid having a cord lying on the sofa, bed, or wherever you use the heating pad. It comes in two different material variants, in corduroy and velour, in a total of six colours, says Stark.

He believes in the cordless variant.

– We have sold well of the massage pillows with cords, but we believe many will prefer the new cordless ones, which can lie there on the sofa without being distinguishable from regular pillows, says Stark.

Heating blankets for pets

He also highlights Beurer's heating blankets.

– This is where the company comes from, and this was Beurer's first product, at its inception over a hundred years ago. The product group is constantly being developed with new and traditional heating blankets, and now we are also introducing a series of heating mats for pets, says Stark.

Initially, these come in two sizes, for dogs and cats, and there will also be heated beds.

– The cord is protected by a material that the pet cannot chew through, says Andersson.
