– JLab Daybreak is our top series of gaming products, with headphones, mice, and keyboards, at competitive prices, says Aaron Levine.

When we meet him in January at the CES fair in Las Vegas, he shows JLab's three new series of gaming products; Nightfall, Midnight, and Daybreak.

Nightfall is the entry-level model, with headphones from 40 dollars and keyboards based on membrane technology in several colours. Midnight is the mid-level, with mechanical TKL keyboards with RGB backlighting per key, larger drivers in the headphones, detachable boom microphone, and volume wheel. Daybreak is the top model, with coaxial drivers of 50 and 20 millimetres and DTS-X support in the headphones. A European launch is not yet determined.

– Daybreak has dual drivers in a coaxial configuration, which provides impressive sound and more features, says Levine.

He says the headphones support simultaneous use of Bluetooth multipoint and cable, allowing the user to seamlessly switch between phone calls, music, and game sound.

– The model also has a comfort-oriented headband with suspension for long sessions, says Levine.

Mechanical and magnetic

The mechanical Daybreak keyboard has magnetic switches, where the activation point can be adjusted from 0.2 to 5 millimetres via software. The keyboard costs 149 dollars.

– We have a full line of gaming products at different performance levels. Nightfall is for the beginner and Midnight for the enthusiast, while Daybreak is for the professional gamer, says Levine to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

In the mouse portfolio, Nightfall is an ultra-light variant, while Midnight has mechanical buttons and Daybreak as the top model has a D-pad and nine buttons. Both of the top models have RGB lighting.

– The gaming market can be expensive and quite static. We want to offer innovation at a price more people can afford. With us, you can buy both a keyboard, mouse, and headphones for less than what a premium keyboard usually costs, says Levine.

JLab also shows a white version of their open headphones launched at IFA, as well as the new JBuds Mini ANC, which is said to be the world's smallest completely wireless model with noise cancellation. This costs 40 dollars.
