The camera takes pictures at up to 10 megapixels and has a 1.0-inch LCD screen for previewing. Via the instax Pal app, a smartphone can be used as a remote shutter release, and pictures can be saved and transferred via Bluetooth or USB-C. The Pal 2 stores up to 100 pictures before transfer. Five filter themes with six effects each allow for customisation, and users can choose between instax mini, SQUARE and WIDE formats before printing via compatible instax printers or hybrid cameras. The instax Animation shooting mode takes 10 pictures and creates a flipbook-style animation. The camera supports microSD cards and comes with a USB-C cable, wrist strap and camera angle accessory.
