NEW ELON ACCESSORIES FROM AURDEL

– We are talking about vacuum cleaner bags and nozzles, inlet and outlet hoses for washing machines and tumble dryers, and filters for cooker hoods, to name just a few, says Per Nilsson of Aurdel.

He is key account manager and responsible for Elon at Aurdel, and we meet him before the summer at the Elon Expo training fair in Örebro.

Nilsson says Aurdel develops and distributes the products for the chain, delivering directly to stores from Aurdel's main warehouse in Jönköping.

– This is a brand that Elon stores can purchase from our warehouse, says Nilsson.

Elvita becomes Essentials

Aurdel has previously supplied a range under the Elon name, but with the new launch, the accessories are being moved to the chain's own Elvita brand, under the Essentials sub-brand.

– We have around 75 items in the Essentials range. Elvita means that it is an Elon product, while Essentials indicates that the product is handled by a third party. When new needs arise, we develop the product and make it an Elvita Essentials, says Nilsson.

He describes Aurdel as a company with a broad scope.

– We have products for consumer electronics, products for the white goods sector, and for audio and video, he says.

B2B and electric vehicles

A large part of the business is business-to-business.

– We who are here at Elon Expo are showcasing products aimed at ordinary consumers, but we also have a dedicated unit working with installation companies such as Atea and Dustin. In addition, we have E-Fuel, which sells solutions for electric vehicles, says Nilsson.

Aurdel is the result of the merger of Aurora Group and Deltaco.

– Aurdel has received a boost, and we can really feel that things are moving forward, says Nilsson.
