– Customers have the products delivered to their home in around an hour, according to a press release.

The service started on 4 May, with delivery from six Power stores in Oslo:

Storo, Grünerløkka, Majorstuen, Skøyen, Alnabru, and Skullerud.

– We are making our offering even more accessible. Customers expect low prices and quick access to what they need, and now we deliver it to their door in under an hour. The physical store is still the heart of what we do, but now customers can get the goods home exactly when the need arises, says Anders Nilsen, managing director of Power Norway, in the press release.

Quick delivery will be one of several delivery options, and is described as a pilot. According to the press release, Power has tested the concept in Finland, with great success.

B2B and B2C

– Experiences from Finland show that companies choose quick delivery to save employees' time during working hours when they need everything from printers to computer screens, while for private individuals, most orders are for earphones, chargers, and vacuum cleaners in the afternoon, reports Power.

Wolt says electronics is something customers have requested for a long time.

– Initially, we will not deliver large white goods such as refrigerators and washing machines, but rather smaller products people need here and now, like a new phone, hairdryer, coffee machine, speaker for the summer party, or an electric toothbrush. But perhaps, in the future, you could also have a new dishwasher delivered in just under an hour, says Anahita Aaneland, Head of Retail Partnerships at Wolt Norway.
