The displays use hundreds of miniLEDs in the backlight, with precisely controlled dimming zones for deep blacks and bright highlights. The high peak brightness is intended to ensure good picture quality in both dark rooms and bright living rooms. AI-PQ technology analyses scenes, faces, objects and depth in real time to optimise picture settings and reduce noise. Quantum Dot technology provides a wide colour gamut and high precision. AQUOS Smooth Motion and Dolby Vision IQ contribute to smooth HDR images during fast motion. The sound system is factory-tuned by Harman Kardon and supports 3D Dolby Atmos. The range is offered with several Smart TV operating systems, including TiVo, Titan OS, Google TV and Roku.
