That's what sales manager Michael Amundsen at Kärcher Norway says.

- Kärcher is known for its innovative cleaning products. Now we are coming with a product that effectively kills mites, which also functions as a first-class vacuum cleaner for mattresses and sofas, says Amundsen to the magazine Elektronikkbransjen, when we meet him at the IFA fair in September.

The suction power is 500 W, and the vibrating beater bar with 180 strokes per second is designed to loosen even ingrained and stubborn dirt, mites and their droppings from mattresses and other textile surfaces, while the UV-C light is supposed to neutralise 99.9% of all bacteria and mites, without the use of chemicals.

A good feeling

- Is this a product that people want to buy when they see it, and feel that it starts to itch?

- Most people are probably aware that there is something there, in beds and mattresses, and that it gives a good feeling to be able to go over them at regular intervals. We are quite sure that with VCH 4 UVClean we will cover a need that is quite large, says Amundsen.

The product will be available in stores before Christmas and costs 1500 kroner.

He believes that the electronics channel will suit VCH 4 UVClean well.

- They are good at dust and cleaning from before, with the right customer groups, says Amundsen.

At IFA, Kärcher is also launching three new window cleaners, with better battery life and USB-C charging, in addition to a new design. They also come with two window cleaning robots.
