SONY BRAVIA THEATRE SERIES

Sony launches the BRAVIA Theatre series, consisting of the soundbars Theatre Bar 7 and Theatre Bar 5, as well as the subwoofers Theatre Sub 9 and Sub 8 and the rear speakers Theatre Rear 9.

Theatre Bar 7 has nine speaker units, including upward-firing and side speakers, and uses 360 Spatial Sound Mapping for room-calibrated surround sound. Theatre Bar 5 is a 3.1-channel soundbar with a wireless subwoofer, S-Force PRO Front Surround and Vertical Surround Engine. Sub 9 has two 200 mm drivers mounted against each other for reduced vibration, while Sub 8 has one 200 mm driver. Rear 9 has 80 mm upward-firing speakers for extended rear channel sound. Sony is also launching the BRAVIA 3 II and BRAVIA 2 II TV models. BRAVIA 3 II has an XR Processor, XR Triluminos Pro, support for Dolby Vision/Atmos and four HDMI 2.1 ports. BRAVIA 2 II upscales HD content to 4K and has Google TV.
