- The Dutch distributor Commaxx has now taken over Nedis and thereby acquired a number of new brands in the portfolio, says Tero Metsälä at Commaxx.

Modified

- Karaoke machines from Ikarao are one of the new product groups that we are investing heavily in for the future, says Metsälä.

The trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen meets him at the IFA fair in Berlin in September.

- The merger with Commaxx means that our customers now have a much larger product range, and we can offer products even in higher price ranges, says Metsälä.

The Dutch company now owns the brands Gastronoma, Melissa, Nedis, Alecta, Revo, Lemco and Imperial. In addition, they have the distribution of Ikarao throughout Europe.

- There will be no products with the Commaxx product name, but own brands still make up a large part of the portfolio, says Metsälä.

Nedis has already moved the product range to Commaxx's warehouse in the Netherlands, and soon the data systems will also be linked together.

- It will provide much better ordering solutions for our customers, who will then have access to more products, says Metsälä.

Ikarao karaoke

- We now offer four different karaoke machines from Ikarao, from the smallest to large with powerful speakers, says Metsälä.

The top model is called Break X1.

- It is equipped with a 13.3-inch screen that can be rotated, so the singer gets a good overview, says Metsälä.

Two wireless microphones have a battery life of up to 15 hours, while the system itself needs to be charged after 8 hours. The microphones charge automatically when placed in the karaoke machine. The speaker has an output of 800 watts and supports both wifi and bluetooth.

- You can access the music via apps like YouTube or Karafun, and it comes with a six-month free subscription to Karafun, says Metsälä.

The price of the Ikarao Break X1 is around 7,000 kronor.
