The device has enhanced radar measurements and a built-in launch monitor that records ball speed, club speed, smash factor, and tempo. It also offers putting measurements such as stroke length, tempo, and club and ball speed. Bag mapping allows the user to register typical club lengths, and features like driving range training, tempo training, and club speed training are included. During play, the device provides a virtual caddie, PlaysLike distance, and support for automatic shot detection with compatible sensors. It can display wind speed and direction, update course data wirelessly, and synchronise with the Garmin Golf app. The device has an IPX7 water rating, up to 25 hours of battery life in GPS mode, and up to eight hours in radar mode.
