SMART NOISE REDUCTION FOR BETTER SLEEP

With active noise reduction and a sleeker design, the Sleep A30 from Soundcore by Anker aims to provide better night's sleep - completely without a pressure sensation in the ear.

- Sleep A30 has received a pure ANC function, in addition to the passive noise reduction we had previously. The active noise reduction is so smart that you avoid the pressure sensation you often get with regular ANC products, and can use it all night without discomfort, says Nordic sales manager Andreas Ahlgren at Anker Nordics to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

- What else is new?

- We have made the product even thinner, and it comes in two colours; white and a greenish shade, says Ahlgren.

Great demand

He says that the response from the market has been beyond all expectations.

- I started at Anker in December last year, and was surprised at how great the need was for this type of product. Consumers understand what it is, and the Sleep series is one of our greatest successes in the Nordics right now, says Ahlgren.

- Do you have many competitors?

- No, there are not so many players in this area yet. We continuously work on developing the technology, and always try to stay at the forefront, says Ahlgren.

Innovative company

Sleep A30 is part of the audio brand Soundcore by Anker, which also includes speakers, headphones, and projectors. In addition, the Anker group has products in security, robotic lawnmowers, robotic vacuum cleaners, baby and mother products, chargers, batteries, and cables.

- How would you describe Anker as a company?

- Very innovative, with a strong focus on products that should be useful and appeal to many, says Ahlgren.

Anker Nordics has its headquarters in Stockholm, with 22 employees, and is represented at, among others, Elkjøp, Komplett Group, ProShop, and Kjell & Company. The headquarters for Anker is located in Shenzhen, China.
