SOUND AND CHARGING FROM ANKER

We meet Anker Innovations in the first week of March, during the mobile fair MWC in Barcelona.

– Incredibly many used Space 1 at airports and on planes. In May, the successor arrives, with 50 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation and 70 hours without. The price is 129 euros, and we are very pleased with the sound, quality, and weight, says Robert Berg to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Space 2 has four-step noise cancellation, white noise with one press, and comes in the colours Linen White, Jet Black, and Seafoam Green.

People love the sleep earbuds

Berg also shows the Soundcore Sleep A30 Special Edition.

– We launched Sleep A30 last autumn. Special Edition means an extra hour of battery life and a new colour, he says.

The model has active noise cancellation, noise blocking, and snore masking. The content includes calm sound, relaxing stories, rain waves, and white noise.

– This is an important product for us because there is little competition left in this category. Sleep is important, and many are stressed. With these, the user can relax, listen to podcasts, or get a calmer sleep. People love the product, says Berg.

The noise cancellation requires the charging case to be placed next to the user at night.

– The microphone is in the case, not in the earbuds. This must be explained to the customers, he says.

Tamagotchi charger

Anker Innovations also showcases the Anker Nano Charger 45W Smart Display.

– It has a small screen and automatically detects which device you are charging. If I use an iPhone, all parameters are set correctly at once, says Berg.

The charger has a Care Mode designed to keep both the phone and charger cooler.

– It is an innovative product, and many are reminded of the Tamagotchi era when they see the little icon on the screen. The recommended price is 50 euros, says Berg.

He also highlights the Anker Prime Wireless Charging Station, a foldable 3-in-1 product with 25-watt wireless Qi2 charging, support for Apple Watch and AirPods, as well as AirCool cooling.

Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro was launched at CES earlier this year.

– It solves two problems for users who train. Open headphones are comfortable, but sometimes you want noise cancellation. AeroFit 2 Pro can switch from being open-ear to in-ear in one second, says Berg.

Breast pump under clothes

Among the more specialised products, he highlights the eufy pump.

– It is a smart breast pump, and it makes the situation easier for mothers. This is still a sensitive topic in some places. Therefore, it is nice to have a product that can be used discreetly under clothes, says Berg.

Soundcore Work AI Voice Recorder is a portable dictaphone the size of a coin, with speech-to-text in more than 140 languages, encrypted audio and summary based on templates.

The compact speaker Soundcore Boom Go 3i has 24 hours of battery life with normal use, 15 watt sound, IP68 rating and a battery pack that can charge external devices.

In the projector category, Anker presents Soundcore Nebula P1, a portable projector with detachable speakers, 650 ANSI lumens, 1080p resolution and integrated carrying handle. Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro is a more comprehensive solution with 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, two wireless speakers, 200-inch image, 3500 ANSI lumens and 110 percent Rec.2020 colour space.

From over and in to on and open

The power station Anker Solix C2000 Gen2 has up to 4 kWh expandable capacity, 4000 watt peak power and 800 watt alternator charging from the car. It should be able to power a two-door refrigerator for up to 32 hours.

– We are always innovative, and that's why we are called Anker Innovations. Our products stand out from the competitors, and Anker is a well-known brand for charging and batteries. Our knowledge of battery technology is a strength, and it also gives us advantages in Soundcore products, says Berg.

He believes the audio category remains central.

– Over-ear and in-ear are always important, but on-ear and open-ear are perhaps even more important for us right now. The market is constantly evolving, and we see improvements in noise cancellation, sound quality, and weight. Weight is an underrated factor, he says.
