- Now we are opening a dedicated department for Leica products, the concept is called Leica Boutique, says Pål Elvenes at Scandinavian Photo.

- This is the only speciality store for Leica in Oslo, and we are proud of it, says Elvenes.

The trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen meets him in the newly opened premises in September, co-located with Scandinavian Photo in the Tech Hall at the Steen & Strøm department store in central Oslo.

- We have been selling Leica for a long time, but now we offer more models and a wider range of equipment, says Elvenes.

The interior of Leica stores has traditionally been black and red, but this has now been toned down.

Increased interest

- The red back wall is for cameras, green is for sports optics, and grey is for used products, says Elvenes.

- We see an increasing interest in Leica products, and we believe this opening will further contribute to that, says Elvenes.

Elvenes points out that customers should feel confident that they will receive good service and follow-up.

- In addition to many employees with good knowledge of photography, we have two employees with specialised expertise in Leica's product range, he says.
