- Our entire mission has been to develop products that truly solve problems. Now we are ready to launch products that will actually work well, says Monique Dugarte Ramos, Nordic marketing manager at Roborock.

- You were early with robot vacuum cleaners. Why has it taken you so long to come up with robotic lawnmowers?

- When we develop new products, the quality must be the utmost. This is a very mature category, but we also see many new solutions to consumer problems. Since we have eleven years of experience with navigation and obstacle systems, we know that we are now ready to launch products for the garden that will actually work well, Ramos tells the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Thus, we can offer something consumers are highly focused on, a product that provides them with a very hygienic environment at home

Roborock has high expectations for the category.

- There are very many, not least in Europe and the Nordics, who have large grass areas that need mowing. This is a quite demanding and not least time-consuming task that we can solve thanks to the versatility we have built into our products. For example, the RockMow Z1, which is our flagship model, handles slopes up to 80 percent, while the other models, RockMow S1 and Q1, work at around 45 percent slope, says Ramos.

She says that Roborock has a new technology on their four-wheel drives, with motors in all wheels.

- It provides better control and is more gentle on the grass, says Ramos.

Clean with steam

Another new product from Roborock at the Berlin fair in September is a wet and dry vacuum cleaner with steam.

- This is based on the F25 ACE Combo, which we launched this summer. The F25 Ultra has a high-temperature system with steam and can clean both itself and the floor with hot water up to 150 degrees and steam. Thus, we can offer something that consumers are very focused on, a product that provides them with a very hygienic environment at home, says Ramos.

At IFA, Roborock is showing a combination machine with washing and drying, with a robot vacuum cleaner in the base.

- Roborock 4-in-1 Home Cleaning Combo is a new concept product that we hope to commercialise soon. The base for the robot vacuum cleaner, with water and self-cleaning, is connected in one and the same pump behind the washing machine. It solves the problem of space, which many consumers have, says Ramos.
