LIEBHERR SET FOR NOK 98,000

Power is launching a Liebherr set in a black steel finish for around NOK 98,000, which will be displayed in the chain’s stores across the Nordic region.

– For this price, you get a handmade refrigerator and freezer with market-leading cooling technology, both in a black steel finish with a black steel interior, where the same black details on the steel panel at the back of the refrigerator and on the shelves inside mirror the exterior. It is an aesthetic, very, very elegant cabinet, says Randulf Rossbach of Witt to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Witt Denmark represents Liebherr in the Nordic region, and we meet Rossbach in the last week of March at the PowerUp MDA training fair.

The price for the two cabinets is NOK 50,000 (fridge) and NOK 48,000 (freezer) respectively.

 

Two zones with BioFresh

The refrigerator has two zones and a patented BioFresh solution which, according to Rossbach, is intended to preserve the shelf life of the food.

– This increases the likelihood that the food is eaten and thereby reduces food waste, says Witt’s man.

The freezer is equipped with an ice cube maker that Rossbach calls IceTower, which can produce and store up to eight kilos of ice cubes in the freezer.

– Is this a joint initiative from Liebherr as manufacturer, Witt as distributor and Power as retailer?

– I would say it is a very well-developed collaboration between Witt and Power. Power has come up with some wishes that we at Witt can quite easily accommodate. It is incredibly exciting to see the enthusiasm and commitment at Power, from the salesperson in the shop all the way up to top management, in how they want to work with the premium products from Liebherr, says Rossbach.

 

Displayed in stores

Rossbach says that Power has deliberately chosen to display the set in its stores because it is important to show customers what is quite simply the very best on the market in refrigeration products.

– Sales staff in the stores are thus given the opportunity to talk about all the features when they sell the products. Power has understood that there are customers out there who genuinely want these products, says Rossbach.

 

Ten years through Witt

He describes Liebherr as the market leader in quality and durability. Customers can now buy a ten-year warranty on the products directly in store, and it is Witt that looks after the end customer throughout the entire ten-year period.

– In other words, that means it is we, the company Witt, who ultimately look after the end customer throughout the entire ten-year term of the product warranty. If a glass shelf breaks because of a manufacturing defect, we replace it and sort it out. If a handle snaps off, we replace it and sort it out. Super simple for customers, Rossbach tells the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Rossbach emphasises that this is not an insurance product, but a warranty, a special agreement between Witt and Power, which can offer this as additional reassurance to its customers.
