According to a press release, the Finnish company is a well-established distributor with a wide range and strong positions in tv, accessories, and small electrical products. - We are pleased to welcome Bat.Power Oy. This is about proximity and service. We have been active in Finland from Sweden for many years, but local presence means a lot, with our own people, relationships, and infrastructure to deliver quickly and relevantly. Bat.Power Oy complements our offering, and we can significantly expand the range for Finnish partners, says CEO David Nicander in a press release from Gandalf Distribution AB.

Local on a Nordic scale

According to the press release, the acquisition gives Gandalf a local organisation and infrastructure in Finland. Bat.Power Oy has an ERP system and logistics processes with dropship capabilities and integration with retail, which will be combined with Gandalf's Nordic supplier network and operational expertise.

Strengthening the channels

According to the press release, Bat.Power Oy adds a strong tv category, including the brand Finlux, to Gandalf's Nordic range. At the same time, Gandalf will use Bat.Power's channel to introduce its own brands in Finland.

- Customers gain access to a broader product range and better availability when the companies' supplier relationships and warehouse capacity are utilised across the markets, according to the press release, where Bat.Power's owner Tommi Järvinen states the following:

- This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Bat.Power Oy and opens up for increased market coverage and faster growth. Together, we can combine Bat.Power's local expertise with Gandalf's Nordic reach and operational strength.

Gradual integration

The integration takes place gradually to ensure stability for employees, customers, and suppliers, while operational and commercial synergies are realised over time. The transaction was completed on 2 January 2026, and the purchase price has not been disclosed.
