- This is a unique product on the market, and the possibilities for use are many, from the kitchen table to the garden or the beach, says Rune Havem to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

When we meet him at the IFA fair in Berlin in September, Strong also showcases new projectors and a selection of streaming products. What they all have in common is that they feature Google TV.

- The portable TV has a matte panel and good brightness, making it suitable for outdoor use. It costs 4,500 kronor and comes with a remote control and built-in speakers with powerful sound, and the resolution is full HD, says Havem, who is the Nordic key account manager.

Strong interest in the market

He says that interest in the product is high in the Nordic countries, and that Strong has high expectations for it.

- For most people, the portable TV will be an additional product that meets a need they might not have known they had, says Havem.

He believes that the TV represents good opportunities for both Strong and the sales channels, and thinks it might be wise to help customers imagine the possibilities for use.

- In the store, it might be displayed on a small camping table or in a tent, says Havem.

Several streaming products

For most people, the portable TV will be an additional product that meets a need they may not have known they had

Strong also showcases its range of streaming products with Google TV. According to Havem, there is high demand for products in the price range of 500 to 800 kronor.

- These easily provide an upgrade for older televisions. For customers with greater demands, there are models with 4K resolution and support for Dolby Atmos, says Havem.

He says that for many, the streaming products will be a fully adequate and much cheaper solution than buying a new TV.

Projectors with Google TV

Strong also showcases several projectors with built-in Google TV.

- Here you get an image up to 150 inches, with prices from around 2,000 to 6,000 kronor. Some have built-in batteries for portable use, and the technology has advanced to the point where you get everything included in one box. For 3,000 kronor, you can get a cinema experience at home without using all your savings, says Havem to the trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen.

Strong Scandinavia has been owned by Skyworth Group since 2015.

- This is one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer electronics. The group produces around 50 million media players annually and is in the top five globally for TV products. In the Nordics, Strong focuses on televisions, network products, projectors, and media players, says Havem.
