- With two large and two small washing machines in the same unit, user-friendliness is greatly enhanced, says Davide Pavanati at Haier

Haier is our premium brand, Hoover we use for medium products, while Candy is for entry-level products, says Pavanati.

The trade magazine Elektronikkbransjen meets him at the IFA fair in Berlin in September.

The washing machine from Candy has four separate washing units. Two small, one large with front loading and one large with top loading at the bottom.

- If you only need to wash a single garment, you save a lot of time, water, and electricity by using a small machine, says Pavanati.

All four washing machines can, according to Pavanati, be used simultaneously with different washing programs. Haier is simultaneously launching a machine with separate washing and drying.

- The capacity of this is 10

kilos washing and 8 kilos drying, these units can also be used simultaneously, says Pavanati.

AI takes care of the food

Haier also showcased a new fridge with a large screen in the door.

We use artificial intelligence in the products so that customers can have an easier everyday life

- If you put in an apple, artificial intelligence is used to notify you when it should be eaten. It reduces food waste, says Pavanati.

Inside the fridge, there is a camera that, with the help of artificial intelligence, has full oversight of the contents.

The new series of fridges is available in widths from 60 centimetres to 105 centimetres. The fridge is equipped with automatic door opening that is activated by knocking on the door.

A minus 50%

- Our dishwashers are now delivered with a heat pump, achieving an energy class of A minus 50%, says Pavanati.

Haier also uses light inside the dishwasher.

- Violet light will ensure that bacteria are killed, and the washing result is improved, says Pavanati.
