The device collects samples via a temperature sensor and analyses them with biochemical sensors in interchangeable cartridges. The results are sent to the Withings app via wifi in a few minutes. Each cartridge lasts up to three months, and the device is cleaned and charged in an included station. U-Scan Nutrio measures pH, concentration, ketones, and vitamin C, while U-Scan Calci monitors calcium content, pH, and concentration to prevent kidney stones. The system uses microfluidic architecture, optical detection modules, and AI-based signal analysis. The user can customise the measurement frequency via the app. U-Scan is developed in France and protected by 32 patent families.
