Sony Alpha 7 V is the fifth generation in the Alpha 7 series and equipped with a partially stacked Exmor RS CMOS image sensor of approximately 33 megapixels.

The camera uses the BIONZ XR2 processor with an integrated AI unit that provides improved autofocus and subject recognition. It has 759 phase points with up to 94 percent coverage and works in lighting conditions down to EV -4. The camera supports continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second, 14-bit RAW, and Pre-Capture function. Dynamic range is specified at 16 stops, and there is AI-based automatic white balance. Video recording includes 7K oversampled 4K 60p in full-frame and 4K 120p in APS-C/Super 35 mm. The camera features Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB-C ports, a 4-axis screen, and a battery life of approx. 630 shots, CIPA. The FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens is compact, lightweight, and adapted for continuous shooting with stabilisation and AF during zoom. Price for the camera body: 37,000,-.
